§1 Purpose of the corporation
The Lilian Bildungsinitiative gGmbH, based in Munich, pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the section "tax-privileged purposes" of the tax code.
The purpose of the corporation is to promote development cooperation, especially with countries in Africa and Southeastern Europe. The focus of the cooperation is on vocational training, be it in training, further education or in the academic field. A special focus is on the professional training of women, in the sense of strengthening the self-determination of women and girls and the equal participation of women in economic and social life.
The purpose of the statutes is achieved in particular through the awarding of scholarships, the implementation and support of courses, further training offers and the establishment of training programs in or for the benefit of the target countries, where applicants are preferred. The application of the events aims to acquire an above-average number of applicants.
